Maarten Strack van Schijndel is a photographer, and has been active as a volunteer for years
in Botanic Garden Meise. He makes beautiful with his trained eye
photographs that point to the beauty of the plant kingdom, of whole plants
to the small details. His photographs show special colors, forms and
to see textures, but also characteristics that are important for determination.
The images are the result of focus stacking photography. Every photo
consists of several layers of sharpness that only
can be created by digital photography. This one
individual images are generated using computer programs
(HeliconRemote, HeliconFocus and Adobe
Photoshop) merged and processed, making a
complete sharp image.
